Strategic purchasing

UTPB supports its clients in the identification and implementation of potential improvements in the field of purchasing and the supply chain and our team also provides support for your purchasing by helping to increase its capacities.

Our international team of experts, consisting of our own employees and a network of partners which has developed over many years, provides concrete answers to strategic and operational issues.

Amongst other things, we will support you

  1. in your purchasing organization
  2. in the conduct of negotiations, e.g. annual price negotiations
  3. in the design of contracts
  4. with staff shortages (interim mandates)
  5. with the development of purchasing strategies
  6. with the analysis of procurement markets
  7. with the identification and reduction of costs
  8. with the planning, management and control of procurement (purchase controlling)

 

Project purchasing

UTPB, together with its experts, focuses on early involvement in project purchasing and thereby ensures value creation, particularly for projects with a substantial proportion of purchased parts.

Among other things, we will support you with the following tasks:

  1. supplier selection in cooperation with strategic purchasing
  2. inclusion of suppliers in development processes
  3. procurement of samples and pre-production parts
  4. evaluation and assessment of capacity, process and quality assurance for the standard operating procedure
  5. procurement of tools
  6. ensuring a successful start-up period
  7. implementation of change management during the entire term of the project
