Rudolf Usner has worked in various areas of automotive suppliers and OEMs for over 30 years. Mr Usner began his career as a production planner at Autoliv GmbH in Dachau in the product areas of seatbelt and airbag systems. Autoliv is a globally active company. Mr Usner joined Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG in Coburg as a project manager, responsible for the global launch of first active manual seat height adjustment system for VW, DC, Alfa Romeo, Opel, Fiat and Saab. In addition to project management Mr Usner shaped the product strategy, forming the basis for a cross-OEM concept and enabling exceptional mass production.

From head of the production planning team and location coordination department, a department responsible for all planning outside of the company headquarters in Coburg (14 factories worldwide), Mr Usner was most recently responsible for production planning in the power window unit at Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, globally responsible for Europe, Brazil, Mexico, the U.S., Japan, China, Great Britain and Spain. Before founding UTPB, Mr Usner was head of the Industrial Engineering unit at Continental Automotive Systems AG, also responsible for factory planning and maintenance of a globally active company in the area of starter generators for hybrid technologies.
