Project targets and tasks

  1. Supplier informs customer about factory closure in Scotland with total relocation to Malta, duration of 2 months incl. product restart.
  2. Supplier lacks the technological know-how, endangering the start of production.
  3. Supplier is insolvent, factory will be closed.
  4. Tool completion by start of production at risk, technical product changes are necessary, communication between customer and suppliers is already tense.
  5. You would like to build up new suppliers and check their capacity to meet industry/market requirements by means of an audit.

 

Project flow

  • On 1: Preparation relocation, employee qualification concept, forward scheduling and supervision, relocation realisation, restart incl. release procedure.
  • On 2: Technical implementation and process qualification with the system manufacturer, safeguarding of the start of production over all project steps.
  • On 3: Forward setup in close coordination with the consumer’s factories, safeguarding of resources and know-how in the company, relocation planning/realisation, planning and supervision of the restart.
  • On 4: Feasibility implementation directly at the supplier, supervision of tool completion incl. initial sample inspection.
  • On 5: Our quality specialists audit your suppliers to VDA 6.1 to 6.X, ISO 900X, ISO 14000 and IATF 16949, working with you and your suppliers to determine what deviations should be considered a TARGET.
